The Hemingway series was created in tribute to the famous American author Ernest Hemingway. To resurrect the Perfecto shape—highly popular in the 1920s but nearly lost to modern times—the Fuente family specifically sought out and retrained their most veteran Cuban-born master rollers.
True to its name, "Work of Art," the rolling craftsmanship of this cigar features a sharply tapered foot and a bulbous, thick middle (reaching a massive 60 ring gauge at its thickest). Rolling this double-tapered shape is incredibly time-consuming and labor-intensive, strictly limiting daily production. Consequently, the "Work of Art" is frequently highly sought-after and hard to find on the market.
