Saint Luis Rey
Saint Luis Rey was founded in Cuba around 1940 by British importers. Its name both pays tribute to the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "The Bridge of San Luis Rey" and alludes to the top-tier leaf region San Luis town. For decades, the brand was sold exclusively in the British market until it was launched globally in 1993. It is known for using premium leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region. Within the Habanos system, it is classified as a low-production "local brand". With its unique medium to full palate, excellent aging potential, and rich oily aroma, it enjoys the reputation of "Cuban Hidden Gem" among seasoned cigar aficionados.
