The Cohiba Novedosos LCDH edition held its global launch ceremony on September 21, 2019, in the courtyard garden of the Museo del Traje in Madrid, Spain. This cigar first appeared at that year's February cigar festival. Featuring a special Robusto Extra size of 156mm x 50 ring gauge, it marked the first product Cohiba designed exclusively for La Casa del Habano (LCDH) stores since the brand entered the market in 1982.
Cohiba Novedosos is sold in boxes of 25. Each cigar not only bears the Cohiba brand band but also an additional LCDH gold leaf band. The 25 cigars are carefully housed in an all-black box, with a design distinctly different from ordinary Cuban cigar boxes.
