Following the unprecedented success of the Cohiba Short, the demand among aficionados for larger ring gauge short cigars has grown steadily. To meet this trend, Habanos pushed the boundaries in 2023 by launching the brand-new "Wide Short" series, elevating the machine-made cigarillo experience to an entirely new dimension.
The Wide Short cigar has been lengthened to 100 mm and its ring gauge increased to 31.5. This thicker and longer design allows it to produce a much richer smoke than ordinary small cigars. The packaging is exquisitely designed, featuring a unique Cohiba classic yellow and black checkered sliding hard box. This cigar is currently available in several sizes: the regular 6-cigar pack, a 60-cigar sliding hard box (usually sold in 10 boxes x 6 cigars), and a special 50-cigar pack launched in 2024. Each version features an individually wrapped Wide Short with a unique label.
