Alma de Campo Madrono

"Alma del Campo" translates to "Soul of the Field," and it is Plasencia's heartfelt tribute to the very source of cigars—the tobacco fields. This line primarily utilizes Nicaraguan-grown Criollo '98 seed tobaccos, aiming to present the most traditional and rustic flavors of the earth.

The Madroño is a massive Gordo cigar. Not only does it boast an extra-long 6.5-inch body, but its ring gauge is also a whopping 58. Because it uses a large volume of perfectly fermented estate tobacco, it produces incredibly thick clouds of smoke. Although its size appears intimidating, it is actually the mildest and smoothest blend in the entire Alma flagship series.

The Plasencia family also incorporated a clever design into the wooden box for this cigar—the lid flips over to become a high-quality desktop cigar ashtray.
