As one of the three founding vitolas of Cohiba, the Cohiba Lancero was originally custom-produced for Cuban leaders. Before its release to the global market in 1982, it was exclusively used as a state gift from the Cuban government to distinguished guests.
Cohiba Lancero pioneered Cohiba's signature "triple fermentation" blending process, incorporating Volado, Seco, Ligero, and precious Medio Tiempo leaves. All filler leaves are bunched using whole long leaves and meticulously hand-rolled by master craftsmen at the famous El Laguito factory, ensuring each cigar meets the highest Cuban craftsmanship standards.
