The Reserva Original line is the world's first and only 100% organic handmade cigar certified by the OCIA (Organic Crop Improvement Association), representing the industry's highest standard of eco-friendly farming philosophies. "Organic farming" means the tobacco must grow naturally in pristine, fertile soil without the use of any pesticides, resulting in extremely low yields and high costs.
"Cortez" is a thicker Figurado-shaped vitola. The 56 ring gauge provides a massive volume of cool smoke, excellently magnifying the fruity and nutty sweetness unique to organic tobacco.
Its blend is designed to recreate the purest, unadulterated taste of tobacco that Europeans experienced when they first arrived in the New World over 500 years ago. The flavor is exceptionally clean, completely devoid of any harsh residues from chemical fertilizers.
