All cigars in the José L. Piedra series use short filler, fully handmade rolling techniques.Precisely because of this, JLP cigars offer extremely high value. Their white brand identification bands are applied by hand, creating a striking contrast with the rich tobacco color. The cigar head is finished with the traditional Cuban three-layer cap.

The Conservas cigar emits a rich earthy aroma, a characteristic that persists throughout the smoking experience, accompanied by cedar wood fragrance, threads of sweetness, and pepper notes. From the start, its smoke output is abundant; in the middle to final third, some baking spice flavors gradually appear, while the intensity of sweetness also increases. Conservas is one of the classic vitolas released when the brand resumed production in 1996.
