Instead, each cigar is wrapped in a real, rustic, unprocessed tobacco leaf. The outer leaf is rich in natural oils and acts as a perfect natural humidifier during storage, allowing the cigar inside to continue micro-fermenting. Be sure to peel it off before smoking! This ceremonial unboxing process is the greatest joy of experiencing the Leaf series.
This Corojo version in the Lancero vitola is a favorite among advanced veterans. The slender size magnifies the characteristics of the highly flavorful Honduran Corojo wrapper exponentially. After peeling away the rugged outer protective leaf, you reveal a flawlessly rolled, oily cigar.
