Petit Cetros is a classic short filler style within the José L. Piedra brand. "Cetros" usually refers to a medium-sized Corona vitola, while "Petit" means small. This cigar is shorter, belonging to the Short Panetela specification, very suitable for brief leisure moments or as a beginner's first experience of Cuban flavors. Its flavor presents the brand's signature main notes of wood, dry grass, and nuts, with a light earthy scent. Due to its small size, its strength is usually described as low-medium to medium, with a direct taste and relatively mild smoke.
When the brand was re-launched in 1996, Petit Cetros was one of the six vitolas released. Before approximately 2002, this cigar was machine-made; after that, it was changed to hand-rolled. This vitola's size is unique to the brand.
