After releasing lines of extremely full-bodied (like Opus X) or classic mild cigars, the Fuente family decided to fill the void in the medium-bodied market, resulting in the birth of the "Magnum R" (Rosado) series.
The pride and joy of the Magnum R54 is its incredibly rare, Ecuadorian-grown Rosado (reddish-brown) sun-grown wrapper that has been aged for an extensive 8 to 10 years. The R54 denotes its 54 ring gauge.
A wrapper with 10 years of aging granting the Magnum R series an exceptionally mellow and irritation-free palate. This line was previously ranked #6 on Cigar Aficionado's Top 10 list of the year.
